Gothic Architecture and Gothic Fiction:An Intertextual Approach
摘要
哥特建筑与哥特小说虽孕育于不同的历史时代与文化土壤,之间却存在着千丝万缕的关联。本文通过追溯"哥特"概念的历史演进,考察18世纪后期催生文学与建筑上哥特复兴的趣味变迁,从而将哥特建筑与哥特小说置于相互交织的文化网络来加以互文性阅读。文章分析了哥特小说对中世纪哥特建筑的吸纳与改造,剖析了建筑在小说中的深层寓意与文学功能,并力图深入诠释二者在美学与精神层面上的高度呼应与共鸣。
