汪中是乾嘉诸子学的代表人物,他的诸子学思想集中保存在《述学》一书中,主要研究了墨学、荀学以及老学。汪中的诸子学研究,尤其是墨学和荀学研究,打破了诸子思想长期以来不受重视的局面,使得诸子学重新回到了学术研究的范围内,墨学和荀学逐渐回复到了先秦时期的重要地位。自汪中之后,诸子学研究越来越受到学者的重视,越来越成熟,汪中可以说居功至伟。

Wang Zhong was a representative of the research of Chu-Tzu Hsüeh in QianJia period,his pensee about Chu-Tzu Hsüeh conserved in his book 'Shu Xue'.In this book,Wang Zhong did the research of Mohism,the school of Xun Zi and the school of Lao Zi.Chu-Tzu Hsüeh of Wang Zhong,especially the research of Mohism and the school of Xun Zi,broke the status in which Chu-Tzu Hsüeh was despised.It made Chu-Tzu Hsüeh renewedly become a part of academia.Since Wang Zhong,Chu-Tzu Hsüeh became more and more important,the research of Chu-Tzu Hsüeh became more and more mature,Wang Zhong was great contributive.He was a precursor!
