Survey on Knowledge of AIDS among Adolescent Out-of-school in AIDS Epidemic Area

目的了解县城校外青少年艾滋病防治知识的来源和希望获得知识的途径,为完善艾滋病的防控政策提供依据。方法采用匿名问卷方式,调查某县城年龄在15～24周岁无业或工作不满1年的校外青少年,对调查数据进行频数分析。结果校外青少年现有艾滋病知识的来源依次是电视、报纸杂志、网络、宣传册和书籍、朋友、医生、专家讲座、街坊邻居、父母或亲戚、参观展览、咨询服务、与性伙伴一起接受教育;希望获得艾滋病防治知识的途径依次是电视、网络、报纸杂志、父母或亲戚、朋友、街坊邻居、宣传册和书籍、医生、咨询服务、专家讲座、参观展览、与性伙伴一起接受教育。结论应加大艾滋病知识在电视、报纸杂志中的宣传强度和力度,加强对校外青少年密切接触人群的艾滋病宣传教育,积极开展全民教育,突出卫生宣教工作者的作用,为校外青少年定期开展科普教育,提供专业咨询等是关键。

Objective To understand the knowledge sources of AIDS prevention and treatment among the county out-of-school adolescent as well as the ways of accessing the knowledge, so as to provide evidences for improving AIDS prevention and control policies. Methods Anonymous questionnaires were employed to do a research of the out-of-school adolescent aged from 15 to 24 years old, who were jobless or worked less than one year in some county. The frequency analysis was conducted with the research data. Results According to priority, the current AIDS knowledge sources of out-of-school adolescent included television, newspaper and magazines, Internet, pamphlets and books, friends, doctors, professional lectures, neighbors, parents or relatives, exhibitions, counseling, receiving education together with sexual partners. Ways of accessing the AIDS knowledge mainly included television, Internet, newspaper and magazines, parents or relatives, friends, neighbors, pamphlets and books, doctors, counseling, professional lectures, exhibitions, and receiving education together with sexual partners. Conclusion We should give wide publicity to the knowledge of AIDS on television, in newspapers and magazines. It should enhance the propaganda and education on AIDS among the people who have close contact with those out-of-school adolescent and actively carry out education for all. Meanwhile, it could highlight the role of those health education workers. The key were to carry out science education on a regular basic for those out-of-school adolescent to provide professional consultation.
