After the Sino-Indian War in 1962,the Kennedy's Administration began to adjust its South Asia policy.Partly based on CIA's analysis of the war,the U.S.decision-makers considered that the Sino-Indian War provided a good opportunity to ally with India to contain China.This essay tries to show how CIA analyzed the Sino-Indian War in 1962 and and why the American government increased its aid to India.
