Experimental Phonology and The Analysis of Chinese phonology

实验音系学是语音学跟音系学的结合,是基于语音实验的音系学研究,也就是音系学分析的量化描写。语音学与音系学的交汇点是语音格局,它是实验音系学的基础。在语音格局的研究中,相对化的观念很重要,因为经过相对化处理之后,通过实验得到的数据才能显示出在语言研究中的意义。本文采取相对化的观念和方法,分别在北京话声调格局和元音格局、普通话儿童元音习得、北京话声调的统计分析及天津话声调系统性变化的研究中进行了实践和应用。

Experimental phomology is the integration of phonetics and phonology,is the phonology research carried out by the means of phonetic experiment,and is also the quantitative descrip- tion for phonological analysis.The convergence of phonetic and phonology is sound pattern, which is the base of experimental phonology.In the study of sound patten,the notion of rela- tivation is very important.Because it is through relative process that the linguistic value will appear from the experimental data.This article,employing the ideas and methods of relativa- tion,analyzes the tonal and vowel systems of Mandarin Chinese,the vowel acquisition by Mandarin-speaking children,the systematic change in Tianjin dialect and explores the tonal systems of Mandarin Chinese by statistical means.
