This paper analyzes the pitch declination within prosodic words which are got from the corpus contained 400 sentences.Contrasted the declination of polysyllabic prosodic word in different position of prosodic phrase,we concluds that:with the syllable number increasing, the pitch declination increases gradually within prosodic words. The pitch declination includes high line and low line, and declination scale of low line is bigger than declination scale of high line.In different positions of prosodic phrase, the performances of two declinations are different. In the middle of prosodic phrase, the declinations of high point and low point are almost the same, but at the initial and the final, low point declination is bigger than high point distinctly.
