The Development of Modern Comparative Advantage Theories

本文研究比较优势理论在HO框架的基础上获得的纯理论层面的进展,主要内容包括HOV模型及其发展、动态比较优势模型、引入中间产品和要素的跨国流动、非贸易品、比较优势与产业内贸易、高维模型等。上述考察有助于我们更加全面而准确地认识国际贸易理论中的重要内容,并且澄清诸如"比较优势陷阱论"和比较优势理论因为过分简化而脱离现实等批评。尤其值得注意的是,在现代比较优势理论的框架下,一向被流行的见解视为只能由新贸易理论解释的产业内贸易也能得到合理的解释。

This paper reviews the pure-theoritical development on the basis of the HO framework of the comparative advantage theories,including HOV model and corresponding developments,dynastic comparative advantage models,models in which intermediate goods,primary factors and non-traded goods are introduced,comparative advantage interpriting the Intra-Industry Trade.Some misunderstanding about contemporary comparative advantage theory such as 'coamparative advantage trap' and unpratical characters rooted from the unrealistic assumptions.It is especially worthwhile to refer that the IntraIndustry Trade which in the prevalent opinion should be interpreted by the 'New Trade Theory' can be interpreted in the framwork of comparative advantage theory.
