适度教育、知识产出与经济增长——基于珠三角城市人口普查面板数据的实证分析

Adaptive Education,Knowledge Production and Economic Growth:An Empirical Analysis Based on the Panel Data in the Pearl River Delta

知识产出与经济增长受人口受教育水平的适度规模、知识外溢和市场容量的支配,融合以上因素构建理论模型并对珠江三角洲9城市1996-2010年的面板数据进行实证分析发现:人口受教育水平与知识产出和经济增长之间存在适度问题,即受教育水平最高的人口并不一定是产出弹性最大的人力资本,而是与城市功能定位和产业结构转化相匹配的人力资本才是经济增长的源泉。这种适配度区别不仅表现为城市间差异,而且随时间发生动态演变,因此,人力资本政策应该因时因地制宜。

By constructing a Translog economic growth model based on the adaptive education scale,knowledge spillover,market capability,and taking empirical analysis grounded on the panel data of the Pearl River Delta in 1996-2010,we find that:People received higher education are not always more productive,but people received adaptive education to functional orientation of the city and structure change of the industry are the source of economic growth.The adaption degree is different between cities and evolutive through time.So human capital policy should adjust measures to local conditions.
