摘要
提出一种利用离轴全息菲涅尔透镜制作全息型波分复用器的新方法.全息菲涅尔透镜具有会聚和色散两种功能,因此在光纤通信的波分复用元件中存在巨大的应用潜力.此种元件的主要优点为节省辅助元器件,并且成本低.阐述了波分复用器的设计原理和制作方法,其工作的中心波长为1550nm,信道间隔为2nm.通过理论分析证实制作的元件满足光纤通信系统的要求.给出了初步的实验方法、实验结果并进一步讨论了应改进的方案.
Holographic Fresnel lenses have both of functions of focusing and dispersion,and thus, have the potential to be used as wavelength division multiplexer (WDM) in optical fiber communications. In this paper, we present a technique for fabricating off-axis Fresnel lenses used for WDM. The main advantages of such device are saving auxiliary elements and low cost. The primary holographic WDM using off-axis holographic Fresnel lens has been fabricated. The principle and fabricating technology of the WDM with the central working wavelength of 1 550 nm and the channel spacing of 2 nm are described. It is verified by the theoretical analysis that the WDM can meet the request of optical fiber communications system. In the experiment, the off-axis Fresnel lenses was fabricated with two-beam interference, one of which is the parallel beam and the other is the divergent beam. The experiment method and testing results of the device are presented in the paper.
