摘要
从类型学角度看,傣语、汉语和英语同属SVO语言。但从这三种语言的名词性短语的语序来看,傣语完全符合语言类型学中的普遍性和蕴含性原则,而汉语名词性短语结构与傣语正好相反,常见修饰语置于核心名词之前。至于英语,其修饰语的位置则比较灵活,有的置于核心名词前,有的置于其后。而从句法、语义层面对三种语言名词性短语进行对比分析,找出其异同,充分认识三种语言的特有现象,对母语、汉语熟练的傣族学生学习英语名词性短语则会大有裨益,并能促进他们的英语习得。
According to typology theory,Dai,Chinese and English are SVO languages,sharing common points,but also having differences on word order.This paper contrasts and analyzes some types of modifier-noun constructions in the three languages,finding that Dai language is accordance to universal and implicational principles invented by J.Greenberg,while in Chinese,all above modifiers are preposed;For English,there are both prepositive and postpositive attributes in it.For the Dai students who are fluent speakers of both Dai and Chinese,knowing the similarities and differences from the contrast and analysis of the Modifier-noun Constructions among the three languages is not only significant in their English Learning,but their English acquisition would be promoted as well.
