摘要以人为中心的人道主义造成了人与社会、人与自然及人与技术等关系之间出现不同程度的扭曲和异化。后人道主义是对人道主义的反思、批判与扬弃。它既不是人道主义也不是反人道主义,它在本质上实现了对两者的解构和消弭。相对于现代主义有限的思维方式,后现代主义则是一种无限的思维方式,它反对任何假定的"前提"、"中心"和"视角"等等,具有彻底的否定性。通过后现代主义的思维方式,后人道主义的思想定位在既不能把人等同于自然又不能认为其是超自然的存在物。在人与自然关系的认识上既不能陷入人类中心主义立场,也不能步入非人类中心主义的"怪圈",这种后人道主义的"中道"性深刻反映出后现代精神中的有机主义思想,也是西方社会思潮从人道主义向后人道主义嬗变的最终结果。 The 'anthropocentric humanism',in its various guises,has distorted man's relationships with society,object,nature,technology and God.Rejecting the modernist concept of 'the finite world',postmodernist theorists have imagined the world with infinite possibilities.Defying any assumed 'premise','basis','center',and 'perspective',postmodernism has wielded 'total negativity' as its weapon.Armed with the ideology of postmodernism,the posthumanists assert that man should neither be equated with nor be elevated above nature.The philosophy of the 'middle way' reflects the postmodernist's organic view of the world,which is also the net result of the evolution of Western humanism towards posthumanism.
