摘要
Jacob's Room is a forerunner of Virginia Woolf's stream-of-consciousness novels.The characterization of the novel is different from the traditional clear-cut presentation.By analyzing some incidents in the novel,this paper is to illustrate Woolf's understanding of the impediments in truthful and realistic characterization.
