The General Layout of Urbanization in China and Strategic Ideas for the Future

改革开放30多年来,中国城镇化对推动经济增长发挥了重要作用。中国的发展需要加快推进城镇化,要从布局突破过渡到全面推进阶段,从规模重组、空间重组、产业重组三个维度确立中国城市体系的总体布局。

During the thirty years and more of reform and opening up, urbanization in China has played an important role in pushing forward economic growth.The country’s development calls for speeding up the urbanization process so that it shifts from breakthroughs in the layout of urbanization to its all-round advancement,establishing the overall layout of China’s urban system from the three dimensions of scalar,spatial and industrial reorganization.
