Interpretation of Culture of the Public Forums of Shanghai Expo

公众论坛成为上海世博会有机组成部分,在对于上海世博会筹备活动的介绍中,对于上海世博会举办权的获得、意义、主题、目标、理念等作了深入的探讨。论坛提出了与城市发展有关的生态环境、文化建设、区域与城市发展等问题,不少公众论坛还出台了宣言,提出了诸多合理化的意见和建议。公众论坛的举办,拓展与深化了上海世博会的主题,将上海世博会接力棒传遍天南海北。

The public forums are an organic part of Shanghai World Exposition.They have introduced the preparatory work of Shanghai Expo,explored how Shanghai won the bid to hold this World Expo,and discussed in depth the significance,the theme,the goal,and the notion of Shanghai Expo.In addition,the forums have raised a number of issues related to urban development,such as that of ecological environment,that of cultural construction,and that of regional and urban development.Some forums have even promulgated declarations and put forward plenty of sensible opinions and reasonable proposals.Thus,the public forums have expanded and deepened the theme of Shanghai Expo and spreadthe relay baton of Shanghai Expo to all parts of China.
