To approach the nature of the Westernization movement can help us totally grasp the history of the Westernization Movement,which has important guiding significance.Westernization Movement which was under Westernization Group is protect the fundamental interests of the ruling class of Qing Dynasty and it was a progressive movement with Capitalist factors.Westernization Movement first created China's modern economy,military,science and technology,culture and education.The main characteristics of the Westernization Movement is a sign of progress,and the nature of the feudal or reactionary is secondary.The Westernization Movement was moving,therefore we must adhere to the basic principles of Marxist historical materialism to specifically study the nature of the Westernization Movement.
