摘要
Shakespeare's sonnet 73 impresses the readers with its rich images, metaphors, and profound diction.A study of the form that the poem has taken,of its imagery and its diction,we can conclude that the poem is not merely a cry of personal fear for and anxiety about aging and dying.Instead,it reflects the poet's sentimental attachment to life and resistance to death.
