知识经济时代,一方面经济发展对职业教育提出要求,要求职业教育为经济发展培养所需要的劳动后备力量和各种层次、各种规格的专门人才;另一方面,经济的发展又为职业教育发展提供物质条件。经济的发展是职业教育发展的基础,经济的发展制约着职业教育的发展,要求职业教育的发展与之相适应。

In the era of knowledge and economy,the economic development,on the one hand,demands the vocational education to reserve the powerful labor force and cultivate specialized personnel of different levels,and on the other hand,it also provides abundant material for the vocational education. Therefore,with the economic development being the basis,the development of vocational education is conditioned by economic development,which is supposed to keep pace with each other.
