礼貌是人类文明的标志,是人类社会活动的一条重要准绳。作为一种社会活动,语言活动也同样受到这条准绳的约束。本文以Leech于2005年提出的礼貌大同策略为主要理论基础,通过东西方文化中"礼貌"的差异,论述礼貌大同策略的普遍性,重点在礼貌大同策略对东方文化中"礼貌"的解释力。

This paper is mainly based on Grand Strategy of Politeness which was put forward by Leech in 2005,and discusses the differences of manifestation of 'Politeness' between western culture and eastern culture,and focuses on the explanation of 'Politeness' in eastern culture.We have the conclusion that Grand Strategy of Politeness is universal to both eastern and western culture.
