语言和文化密不可分,学习一种语言必然要学习它的文化。交际能力包括语言能力和社会文化能力。因此英语学习应该既包括语言知识的学习,也包括社会文化知识的学习。鉴于语言与文化这种紧密相联的关系,本文着重探讨英语学习中的文化因素。

Language and culture cannot be separated from one another.Learning a foreign language will inevitably involve learning its culture.Communicative ability consists of linguistic competence and socio-cultural competence,English-learning should orient towards both linguistic knowledge and socio-cultural knowledge.Owing to the inseparable relationship between language and culture,this thesis discusses cultural factors in English Learning.
