Being one indispensable component of modern academic papers on science and technology,Chinese abstract makes it easier for readers to retrieve literature,and prompts the transformation from primary document to secondary document.Therefore the standard phrasing of abstracts is of great significance to the communication and promotion of science and technology.This paper gives an introduction of the classification,content,and phrasing principles of science and technology abstracts,makes it clear that different class of papers should be written in different styles.Meanwhile,some nonstandard writing phenomena have been analyzed with given examples.
