摘要
Based on Larry A. Samovar’s theory and combined with my own teaching practice, this essay mainly analyzes four nonverbal codes: body behavior, silence, seating and personal space in teaching ESP students. Meanwhile, it also provides suggestions on how to make full use of them so as to direct, stimulate and encourage students in classroom activities.
