As a private banker and intimate friend of Bismarck,Bleichroder was a famous banker in Berlin.Be- cause of the special relationship between him and Bismarck,he played an important role during the movement of German unification led by Bismarck.He was the strong economical backing of Bismarck's“Blood and Iron”policy. He helped Bismarck to release financial short of money,grow military strength of Pressia and strengthen the unifica- tion of German.
