关于基础阶段专业英语教学大纲的结构化问题

ON THE STRUCTURAL PROBLEMS OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE SYLLABUS FOR ENGLISH MAJORS AT FOUNDATION IN CHINA

摘要 将我国《高等学校英语专业基础阶段英语教学大纲》(1989)与新加坡《英语语言大纲》(1991)及澳大利亚《语言大纲发展与规划》(1988)进行对比分析 ,结合教学实践和理论 ,就可以发现我国大纲在结构上的差异及由此引起的教学方法和大纲运作的不完善性 。 This article is an attempt to find out the difference in the structure of Syllabus for English Majors at Foundation Stage for Institutions of Higher Learning (1989) of China and the weaknesses of the teaching method and the way it operates caused by the difference. It is compared with another two syllabuses, namely English Language Syllabus (1991) of Singapore and Syllabus Development and Programming (1988) of Australia. The comparative analysis is made on the basis of teaching practice and theory and it illustrates the close relation between teaching syllabus and teaching practice.
