摘要 语用失误属于语言形式正确但是达不到圆满的交际效果的语言使用现象。围绕语用语言失误和社交语用失误 ,作者讨论了中国学生英语语用失误的几种常见现象。分析造成语用失误的原因 ,指出学生在跨文化交际中的语用失误归根结底与学生不了解英语国家文化有关 ,是母语的话语规则向目的语的话语规则迁移 ,从而引起语用失误。所以英语教学应提倡语言与文化并重 ,比较汉、英语言文化行为来减少语用失误。 Pragmatic failure is described as failure of performance, which is linguistically correct but still fails to achieve the intended communication purpose. From the perspectives of pragmalingistic failure and sociopragmatic failure, the author highlights some of the repetitious pragmatic failures of Chinese students learning English and analyzes its causes. Based on this, the author points out that cross cultural pragmatic failure is all in all due to students' lack of the necessary background information of the English speaking countries transfer of the procedure and linguistic means from their mother tongue to the target language. Finally, the author proposes that English language teaching should emphasize both language and culture, compare the culturally distinct ways of both Chinese and English. Only in this way can pragmatic failure be reduced.
