摘要
语用策略指在阅读理解中将语用信息用作交互作用来源之一的方法。本文论述语用策略运用的理由、语用信息的构成、语境在英文阅读中的功能等 ,说明语用策略对读者提取隐含信息和利用语篇信息至关重要。本文还通过实验证明 :中国大外学生在英文阅读中广泛运用了语用策略 ,从而为今后的英语学习和教学工作提供信息 ,以引起一定的启发。
Pragmatic strategies refer to the use of pragmatic information as interactive resource in reading comprehension.They are crucial for a reader to extract implicit information or to take advantage of co-textual information.This article illustrates the reasons for the use of pragmatic strategies,the components of pragmatic information,and the functions of context in reading.It also conducts an experiment to test the application of pragmatic strategies as well as the relationship with the application of other linguistic strategies.The results show that Chinese EFL college students do employ pragmatic strategies during reading.
