在新的历史条下 ,邓小平以极大的勇气 ,纠正了党在和平时期军事理论与实践上的一些偏颇认识 ,深刻理解并正确处理了军队建设和国防建设中一系列的关系 ,即战争与和平的关系 ;军队数量与战斗力的关系 ;国防建设与经济建设的关系 ;武器装备与人的关系 ;和平方式与武力方式的关系 ,确立了新时期的军事辩证法思想。

In the new time,Den Xiao-ping plucked up his courage to correct the biased thoughts about the military theory and practice of the Chinese Communist Party during the peacetime. He recognized and handled correctly a series of relations on national defences, ie. The relations between war and peace, between quantity and fighting capacity, between the building of national defences and economic construction, between weaponry and men, between method of peace and method of military force, so he established the ideology of military dialectics in the new period.
