《吉姆爷》中主要叙述者马洛的价值观念决定着他对主人公的态度 ,导致了他叙述话语中的双声 ,即悲剧性的同情肯定和喜剧性的讽刺否定。
The values of Marlow, the major narrator in Lord Jim, determine his attitudes to Jim the hero and cause his double-voiced narration--tragic sympathy to affirm and comic irony to negate. These two opposites unite in Marlow's narration, especially in his comments and descriptions.
