“五四”前后胡适实用主义影响评议

On HU Shi's pragmatism and it's influence Around the May 4th Movement of 1919

新文化运动时期 ,胡适将实用主义引入中国并积极宣传。在“五四”运动之前实用主义对新文化运动产生了积极影响 ,而此后却阻碍了新文化运动和新民主主义革命的发展。这反映出一种理论对特定时代的作用是与特定历史条件不可分割的。

During the New Cutlure Movement HU Shi introduced pragmatism into China. Before the May 4th Movement of 1919 it had exerted a positive influence to the New Culture Movement. However, later it hindered the New Cutlure Movement and resisted the development of new democratic revolution. All the above reflected that the influence of a certain of theory is inseparable from specific social and historical conditions.
