中国在短短数十年间,国民疾病谱发生了重大转变,慢性病已成为影响国民生命与健康的重要因素.2008 年公布的我国居民第三次死因抽样调查结果显示,脑血管病已成为我国国民第一位的死亡原因.我国脑卒中呈现高发病率、高致残率、高死亡率和高复发率的特点.据世界卫生组织调查,我国脑卒中发病率高于世界平均水平,比美国高出一倍;我国的缺血性脑卒中仍以每年8.7%的速率上升。
