Dialectical Logic and Humane Dimension of Social Progress

人类即将进入21世纪，面对西方高度发达的工业文明带来的社会可持续发展问题的尖锐挑战，如何理解社会进步问题，再次受到世人关注。分析西方科学主义、理性主义所导致的以形式逻辑为视角，以线性思维方式和传统技术—经济发展观为内核的社会进步观，指出应将社会进步问题置于一种辩证思维视野中加以把握，并阐明社会进步中作为主体的人的进步的意义所在，对社会进步概念作出现代诠释。

The 21st century is at the door. Faced with the severe challenge of the issue of sustainable development accompanied by highly developed western industrial civitization,people pay more attention to the understanding of social development. This article tries to analyse the social progress outlook with the core of traditional technical-economic development outlook,and the linear thinking mode with the visual angle of formal logic caused by western scientism and rationalism,thus points out that the issue of social progress should be grasped with the visual angle of dialectical thinking,and reveals the significance of man's progress as is the main body of social progress,and presents modern annotations for the concept of social progress.
