摘要
1899年王懿荣在出土的龟甲兽骨上发现了契刻的文字,至今正好100年。后来经过罗振玉、王国维等学者的努力,确认这些契刻文字是出自安阳殷墟,是商代的遗物,自1928年开始科学发掘,至今发现的殷墟甲骨共约10余万片。殷人迷信天时,遇事必卜,将卜问之事及征验结果刻载于甲骨上,故甲骨文又称甲骨卜辞。卜辞反映的问题十分广泛,其中有一些天象记录。卜辞出于地下,是3000多年前其时的文字记载。它的真实性是毋庸置疑的。
Over one hundred thousand pieces of bone and tortoise shell inscription have un-earthed at Ruins of Yin since 1928 when the first scientific excavation was donethere. These oracle inscriptions carry a wide range of messages including some astrologicalones. A correct decipherment and periodization of them, when combined with an astronom-ical analysis may assist in the chronological reconstruction of the Shang dynasty.
