Abstract The article points out the main barriers that China's
hotel enterprise groups have encountered in years of practice are:The hotel groups lack strong
sales network and booking network.They also lack experiences in managing hotels.The capital
market is imperfect.There exists regional protectionism.Therefore,the author holds that the
developing mode of China's hotel enterprise groups should adopt the systems of headquarters
and different divisions with assets as link.Priority should be given to famous brand and
management in terms of operational pattern.Super hotel groups cooperated by big financial
groups and management corporations should be established.As hotel enterprises,it is
imperative to build first rate hotel management mode based on perfecting standardized
service,enforce CIS and famous brand strategy and in particular,it is necessary to perfect five
supporting systems of finance,sales,reservation,information and human resources.The article
suggests that support be given by the government on various policies so as to facilitate the
establishment of China's large scale hotel enterprise groups.
