Abstract From the input structure analysis of tourism industry by using the latest “China lnput Output Table 1992”,the sectors and their corresponding ratios which consist of the goods and services inputs to tourism industry are found.The article quantitatively supports an important conclusion in tourism that tourism is related to industralization,by calculating which sectors and at what scale they input into tourism.The article goes farther to put forward and prove that tourism industralization is closely related to petrol chemical industralization.This conclusion supports the idea that tourism is not a“less input,more output”industry at a specific period for developing countries.
