The application of hi-tech computers and networks and multimedia in modern open and distance education has pushed Chinese RTVUs-the trans-century distance educational system for higher-level and moreadvanced development. The modernization of Chinese RT’VUs will depend upon the changes and revolutions ineducational philosophy, educational technology, teaching methodology and administration.
