摘要
The paper discusses the misunderstandings and criticisms from the practice of distance education against distance educational theories. By distinguishing some common concepts, it tries to analyze the reasons for these misunderstandings and criticisms.The author also briefly summarizes the main achievements of distance educational research, and puts forward the following suggestions: determine the most urgent problems to be solved as soon as possible; strengthen the basic research; turn from individual research to cooperation research; build up resources for distance educational research; set up good academic styles and regulations.
