周文化中“火”与赤鸟崇拜考

A Textual Research on the Worship of Fire and Red Bird in the Zhou Culture

先秦文献与古文字资料可证周代确实存在“火”、赤鸟与赤色崇拜的文化现象，赤鸟崇拜后来演化为赤凤崇拜。周人的“火”与赤鸟崇拜与周人星空分野的星宿有关，是由星占术而引起的特殊的文化现象。周人赤鸟与赤色崇拜的文化现象并非邹衍五行说兴盛后才产生的。

The pre Qin documents and paleographic material show that the worship of fire, red bird and red color existed in the Zhou dynasty, which, being a particular cultural phenomenon originating from the astrology, had much to do with the concepts of constellation at the time. The worship of red bird evolved later into a worship of red phoenix. It was not up to the time when the Zou Yan's Five Elements Theory appeared that the culture of red worship came into being. However, it was just Zou Yan who made advantage of the culture of red worship and remolded it.
