Origin of Macao Problem and the Significance of Macao's Return to China

本文阐述了五个问题：葡萄牙是怎样占领澳门的；澳门同胞急切盼望回归的心态及原因；只有中国共产党及其领导的中国政府才能将澳门回归的愿望变成现实；澳门回归与香港回归相比，既顺利又艰巨；澳门回归的重大历史意义和现实意义。

The thesis deals with the following five aspects :how Portugal seized Macao; why the Macaocompatriots eagerly expect to return to China; only the Communist Party of China and the Chinese govern-ment under its leadership can realize the expectancy;in comparison with Hong Kong,the return of Macao isgoing on more smoothly but also arduously; the historical and realistic significance of the return of Macao.
