This paper discusses the impacts of Asian financial crisis on the Philippine economy and analyses the difficulties the Philippines face in this year's fast economic recovery.The main idea is that although the impacts of the crisis on Thailand,Malaysia and Indonesia were much heavier,its impact on the Philippines was still many-sided and grave.Since there still exist many restricted factors,this year's recovery of the Philippine economy will be slow and gradual.
