本文以历史为线索，对“四库学”的源起、发生、发展的历程进行了全面系统的评述，对“四库学”的研究范围和研究内容作了界定和总结，对1949年以后两岸三地四库学的发展情况作了综合介绍，对四库学的未来发展研究提出了自己的见解。

This article examines developments in the study of the Four Treasures over the p ast two hundred years, including special characteristics of different historical periods, important scholars and their major contri(utions to scholarship on the Four Treasures, and the scholarly de(ates in the study of Four Treasures. The author seeks to promote renewed scholarly consideration of the Four Treasures an d to establish this work as an important source of learning.
