长子口墓的时代特征及墓主

长子口墓是商周时期的大墓,位于河南鹿邑县太清宫镇。该墓以其墓室大、保存完整、随葬器物数量多、种类多样而引起国内外学术界的广泛关注。因墓主长子口的生活跨商周两个朝代,使得该墓的地位尤显重要。

Changzikou tomb,situated in Luyi county of Henan province,belongs to Shang people and dates to the initial years of Western Zhou.According to the tomb design and burial practice including waist pit,human sacrifice and features of tomb objexts,the tomb owner should be a leftover of Shang people,however,based on the typology and decoration of pottery combination that food vessels were particularly emphasized,the tomb can further be dated to the initial years of Western Zhou.50 ritual bronzes bore inscriptions,'Changzikou 长子口'are the most popular characters occurred.Based to this knowledge,the article speculates 'Chang 长'is a state,'zi 子' is the fief,and 'Kou 口'is the last fief of State Chang.In the end,the authors also put forward their views in the position of State Chang between the end of Shang and the initial years of Western Zhou.
