中国共产党要始终成为中国先进生产力和先进思想文化的代表 ,关键是要始终成为人民群众根本利益的代表。忠实地代表人民群众的根本利益 ,是党的本质特征的集中体现 ,是党长治久安的根本所在。要在新形势下忠实地代表人民群众的利益 ,必须正确认识党群关系 ,反对和防止权力腐败 。

The Communist Party of China should be the representaive of the progressive productive forces and progressive ideology and culture,and above all it should be the representative the people's fundamental interests all the time.To be the faithful representative of the people's fundamental interests is the centralized manifestation of the essential feature of the Party,and it lays the foundation for the Party's long and peaceful administration.To be the faithful representative of the people's fundamental interests,we must reognize correctly the Party Mass relationship,fight against and prevent corruption of power,and coordinate well the various kinds of interests of the people.
