A Dissussion on the Integration of Language and Culture in College English Teaching

语言是文化的载体，二者密不可分。大学英语教学应当做到语言和文化相结合，但实践中文化教学因种种原因被忽略。因此，须重视语言和文化相结合在理论和教学实践上的重要性和可行性，期望引起公共外语教师的普遍重视。

Language is the carrier of culture, they cannot be separated from each other. The teaching of culture should be included in the teaching of language but the former is usually neglected. This paper tries to discuss the importance of the combination of the two in the college English teaching pasetice.
