摘要
Buddhist canon Amoghapasa- dharani - sutra was first translated in to Chinese by Gnanagupta in586, and afterwards by xuanzang in 659 and so on. Based on the different translations, the Illustra-nons concermng sutra differ differ greatly in the Dunhuang Caves, including Mogao Caves, the WestermThousand- Bu ddha- Caves, the Yulin Cave s and the Lower cave of Shuikou Gorge. 80 items of thePaintings have ben discovered in the Dunhuang Caves, which belong to High Tang(1), Mid-Tang(9), Late Tang(20), Five Dynashes(34), and Northern Song (13) respehvely .Thees Paintings areof great value to the studies of the arts of Buddhist Esoterism.
