摘要
Historicism developed in Germany from late eighteenth century,and is 0f the characteristics of German traditional th0ughts. It has a str0ng influence on modern Western thoughts,especially historical philosophy and theories. Under its influence,Croce’s Historical philosophy came into being. This article gives an analysis of the basic principles of historicism embodied by the concepts "personality"and "personalizati0n". It then looks into the relations between Croce and the school 0f hist0ricism,discusses the characteristics of them and points out their limitations.
