摘要
翻译的本质是转换，翻译转换发生在两个不同的符号体系之间。于是，翻译可以分为两种：狭义的翻译，即语言符号体系和语言符号体系之间的转换；广义的翻译，包括语言符号体系和非语言符号体系之间的转换以及非语言符号体系之间的转换。
The essence of translation is a transformation. The transformation of translation takes place between twodifferent symbolic systems. On this basis ti'anslation can be classified as two types: in its narrow sense, it is abosformation between two linguistic systems; in its broad sense, it is a transformation betWeen a linguiStic systemand a non-lingUistic system as well as a transformation within non-linguistic symbol systems.
