Value:The Unity of “Fact”and“Should Be”

“是”与“应当”的关系问题导源于事实与价值的关系问题。事实是“是”，但价值不只是“应当”，价值也是一种事实，也是“是”。而且，价值作为“应当”，也不只是指“应如何”之类的规范，它也是指应有、应然、超越性意义上的观念地存在着的价值预期。价值是“是”与包含上述不同涵义的“应当”的统一，它有多层涵义、多种意指。确立价值是“是”与“应当”之统一的观念，无论是对我们正确理解价值论或价值哲学，还是对价值论或价值哲学的发展，抑或是对其功能的充分发挥。

The relation between“Fact”and “Should Be”derives from the one between facts and value.The fact is“Fact”;but value is not only“Should Be”.It is also a kind of fact.Value,as “Should Be”,not only means the standard of “how should”ect,also means value expectation of existance of idea of “Due”、“Should Be”and “Surpass”.Value is the unity of “Fact”and the above different meanings of “Should Be”.It has many meanings and implications.To establish the idea that value is the unity of “Fact”and “Should Be”will be of great significance for people to understand the axiology or philosophy of value correctly and for the development of the axiology and philosophy of value.
