The present paper maintains that the medium and small sized enterprises are a significant part in China's economic structure, and their development and effectiveness are to a great extent consistent with the support from financial institutions, and therefore it is of vital importance to realize the role such enterprises play in the national economy and to explore the various supports that the financial institutions can provide to further the full burgeoning of such enterprises.
