摘要 1912~1913年的广东教育界,存在着新旧知识阶层两大营垒和中西方两种文化教育的力量。两大营垒之间不同的价值取向与实际权益,及两种文化教育本身之间的显著差异,决定了广东教育界存在着中西方文化的矛盾冲突。民初广东的教育改革,激化了这一矛盾,引发了全省教育界两大营垒之间、两种教育之间的斗争,这实质上是中西方两种文化冲突的反映。我们从这一中西方文化急剧碰撞的具体个案中。 Abstract Between 1912 and 1913, in the Guangdong educational circle, there existed the old and new intellectual groups and the forces in favor of Chinese and Western styles of education respectively. The totally different values and rights and interests of the two camps and the striking differences in the two types of education were bound to cause conflicts between Chinese and Western cultures. The educational reform in Guangdong in the early years of the Republic of China intensified the conflict, and triggered the struggle between the two camps and the two types of education in the educational circle of the whole province. This struggle is in fact the reflection of the conflict between Chinese and Western cultures. From this case of Chinese and Western cultural clash we can see the hard journey of educational development in modern Guangdong, and even in modern China.
