摘要 上古汉语里没有次清音声母。根据汉语谐声偏旁、声训、读若、异文、异切材料,能证明上古尚未分化出次清音。汉语声母跟壮语借词对音的比较,能证明上古汉语本无次清音,越歌可提供佐证。汉语声母跟佛经梵语辅音的比较,能证明汉语次清音起于近古,梵书可提供佐证。“古无次清音” Abstract This article holds that there are no expiratory consonants in ancient Chinese. According to linguistic data in ancient Chinese, such as homophonic radicals in Chinese characters, phonetic explanation of meanings of words, traditional explanation by using homonyms, variant forms of Chinese characters in synonyms, variant forms of fan che, which is a traditional method of indicating the pronunciation of a Chinese character by using two other Chinese characters,we can prove that there were no expiratory consonants derived from ancient Chinese.Through the comparison of ancient Chinese consonants with the homologues of loan words from Chinese into the Zhuang language,we can prove that there were no expiratory consonants in ancient Chinese. Some folk songs in the Zhuang language provide evidence for that conclusion.Through the comparison of ancient Chinese consonants with the consonants of Sanskrit,we can also prove the same fact. The argument that there were no expiratory consonants in ancient Chinese offers a new explanation to some issues about ancient Chinese.
