Maintaining the Party's Principle and Strengthening Supervision through News-casting and the Media

加强新闻舆论监督是邓小平新闻宣传思想的重要内容之一。新闻工作者要站在新闻党性原则的高度充分认识新闻舆论监督的重要性，并在新闻工作实践中，把握正确地开展新闻舆论监督的"三个要点"："以大局为重"的方向、"实事求是"的原则和"积极监督"的方法。

Strengthening supervision through news casting and the media is one of the most important parts in Deng Xiaoping's thought of news and propaganda. The journalists should fully understand its importance from the high principle stand of Party spirit and grasp correctly the three main points of supervision through news casting and the media in their practical work. The three main points are as follows: the direction of 'laying the stress on the whole situation', the principle of 'seeking truth from facts' and the methed of 'supervising actively'.
